An Accra Hearts of Oak Fan,
Gabe is the head honcho and creator of FANSHOES Inc. An entrepreneur from a young age, Gabe’s first venture was starting an organic farm which bred over 500 chickens. Since then Gabe has lived, studied and worked in Ghana, Denmark and the United States. He’s an avid sports fan and has even played soccer professionally.
A Syracuse Orange Fan,
Katelyn is a graduate of the U of Rochester and GCC with degrees in Mathematics, Studio Art and Fashion Merchandising. Her work at FANSHOES includes everything from product and graphic design to photography to licensing. When not working, she loves cooking and watching movies while sipping a nice glass of wine.
An RIT Tigers Fan,
Marcus is a student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, studying computer science. He runs a popular YouTube channel with over 1.5million views and believes in spreading knowledge through the form of media. He is an avid golfer, bowler, all around awesome guy who does whatever it takes.
A Brown Bears Fan,
Lyla is our friendly neighborhood web-mistress, graphic designer and techie. She comes to us from fresh from Brown University, where she studied computer science. She’s an amatuer film maker and writes Android apps in her free time. Favorite movies include Disney’s Mulan, Back to the Future and Willow.
A VT Hokies Fan,
Tyler is a longtime native of Garbage Plate country turned Virginia Tech Hokie. A marketing Management Major, he’s getting ready to enter his final year of college. When he’s not looking for the next trend in social media, he’s brewing up a batch of home made beer or air balling three pointers on the basketball court.
A Syracuse Orange Fan,
Matt is one of our graphic design interns and a ‘12 student at SUNY Fredonia. He studies Visual Arts and
New Media with a concentration in Graphic Design. In his free time he likes to ride his road bike, hike, skateboard, and draw. Matt cites inspiration from the likes of Carl Sagan and Neil Geiman.
An RIT Tigers Fan,
Ivy is a graduate student from Rochester Institute of Technology, with a BFA in Industrial Design and AAS in Graphic Design. I am fluent in American Sign Language. I love to snowboard, make crafty things such as stuffed animals, and travel the world. I’ve traveled to Shanghai three times and know little bit of Japanese. I want to visit Japan and Ireland.
An NYU Violets Fan,
Rebecca is a Junior double majoring in graphic design and advertising at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. She plays piano and guitar, and enjoys writing music in her free time. She’s inspired by the works of graphic designers Paul Rand and Saul Bass. Interestingly, Rebecca was born in Portugal and has dual citizenship.
